Amaury Nolasco did Miami right on Wednesday. The onetime Prison Break star was in town giving interviews for his upcoming movie, Criminal. The action thriller, which opens Friday, stars Kevin Costner as a Death Row convict who receives the memories of a CIA agent to, let’s just say, put him on a better path.

Nolasco woke up bright and early for an appearance on Despierta America, showing off some dance moves.

Then it was onto the Mandarin Oriental Miami Hotel for more interviews.

Later, he ended his busy day of press unwinding at Bodega South Beach with a pal.

The native Puerto Rican, who plays Special Agent Esteban Ruiza in the actioner, was blown away by being on the same set as Costner as well as other his legendary costars Gary Oldman (a criminal recruiter), and Tommy Lee Jones (a neuroscientist).

“Working with these three Academy Award-winning and nominated actors was like going back to school,” said Nolasco. “All I did was watch and learn. Seeing their process, watching how they approached every scene and listening to their anecdotes in between takes was all priceless.

“Don’t tell anyone, but I would have taken this role for free just to get the opportunity to work with these three giants.”

Next up for the Transformers and Telenovela hunk: He’s going back behind bars. The actor will reprise his role as Fernando Sucre, in a la nine-episode reboot of the Fox’s Prison Break, set to start shooting shortly.

He wrote on Instagram how pumped he was to be “back with the gang,” and then in Spanish: “Loco por ver a mis hermanos otra vez!” Translation: “Crazy to see my brothers again!”

In another pic with the cast, Nolasco said he was excited to see what was to come with his PB “family.”
