Shocker! DMX managed to avoid getting into any trouble Monday night.

And he’s suddenly hot again.

The rapper (born Earl Simmons), who has been arrested more than a dozen times for offenses including possession, child support oversights, reckless driving and ID falsification performed at Rockwell Miami at a World Red Eye event.

But seriously folks, DMX did what he did best: rapped.

Spies said he was a real pro and “did great.” Apparently, the crowd went nuts when Simmons sang such hits as Ruff Ryders’ Anthem, Party Up in Here and Get It on the Floor.

The sometime actor (Romeo Must Die, Cradle 2 the Grave) continued on his reputation-boosting tour in South Florida by visiting Jungle Island, as evidenced by Instagram.

The caption: “A very special thank you to the staff at @jungleisland for their hospitality. And the kids loved it!”

D’s latest brush with trouble was back in February, when the entertainer was found unconscious in a hotel parking lot in Yonkers, N.Y., after a witness said he was suffering from a drug overdose.

But there were no incidents to speak of in Miami. Phew.

So life is definitely looking up — and his works are even get new life.

On Monday night, Melissa McCarthy pulled out her best DMX impersonation for a lip sync battle with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. The actress owned X Gonna Give It To You in a trucker hat and kicks.

We must say we didn’t know McCarthy had it in her.
