Juanes: Why I love living in Miami
THE GOOD LIFE
South Florida is good for the complexion and — for Juanes — the creative process.
The Colombian pop star, who covers the latest issue of Ocean Drive, tells the magazine that living here “gives me a lot of tranquility and focus on my work and on my family.” He often Instagrams shots of his down time with his crew. Awww.
Juanes, who lives in Key Biscayne with his wife, actress/model Karen Martinez, and their three kids, doesn’t just have music on his mind. He’s currently shopping a TV show based on the title of his memoir Persiguiendo el Sol (Chasing the Sun).
“It’s inspired from the part of my life from 18 to 25 years old, from when I was living in Medellín, Colombia, with my rock band, to when I moved here and all the things that happened throughout those years,” the 43-year-old explained. “There’s a lot of fiction, of course. It’s going to be very extreme.”
