Jerry Bruckheimer scouting Miami locations for ‘Bad Boys 3’
The motley crew of the rich and famous seen swanking it up Sunday at Seaspice included producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who was overheard speaking with owner Carlos Miranda about the decision to begin filming and scouting locations for his sure to be blockbuster hit Bad Boys 3 very soon. He also marveled at the 10 mega yachts docked at the Miami River restaurant and wondered aloud if it was a common occurrence for such boats to be found at the restaurant. Bruckheimer was rest assured by Miranda that it was just another typical Sunday there.
Party guy extraordinaire Cuba Gooding Jr. arrived there with a bunch of friends for a grand feast, ordering specialty cocktails including two jeroboams of rosé wine that he shared with surrounding females. He was said to have left a very generous tip for the wait staff.
Ivana Trump had a late dinner Tuesday night at Bagatelle, “washing down” her truffle chicken with glasses of rosé.
United States Women's National Soccer Team players Carli Lloyd and Hope Solo had lunch Tuesday at Tap 42 Boca.They were in town playing in the She Believes Cup Wednesday night at FAU in Boca Raton against France and Germany.
Rich Kids of Beverly Hills stars E.J Johnson (who has lost a considerable amount of weight!) and Dorothy Wang arrived with their castmates on one of the mega yachts mentioned by Bruckheimer, and Puerto Rican singer and actor Chayanne was also spotted having drinks with friends and chatting with owner Maryam Miranda.
Krug Champagne and designer Naeem Khan hosted a swanky dinner party Wednesday at the Faena Miami Beach to celebrate “the connection between Champagne, food, and music.” Food was by Alinea’s chef Grant Achatz and music by saxophonist Ben Wendel. In addition to glasses of Krug Grande Cuvée and multiple courses of Achatz’s greatest hits, guests including model Karolina Kurkova, Tommy and Dee Hilfiger, and Alan Faena were treated to a tableside balloon course with helium and green apple (!), and Alinea’s storied dessert presentation.
Snoop Dog performed some of his greatest hits on top of the DJ booth Wednesday at LIV as Skrillex and DJ Seth Troller watched from below. Skrillex was also seen having dinner with friends Tuesday at Naiyara in Sunset Harbour where he enjoyed Chef Bee’s beef jerky and special sashimi selection.
Miguel was spotted at Thursday Rec Room where Arcade Fire’s Win Butler was DJ’ing as his moniker Windows 98. The singer hopped on the drums and played percussion with the indie frontman for most of the night. The two artists would later collaborate together at Okeechobee Festival over the weekend.
