Y100’s Jingle Ball 2014 at the BB&T Center Sunday was the place to be, with performances by Ariana Grande, Calvin Harris, Pharrell, Iggy Azalea, Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor, MAGIC!, Charli XCX, Jessie J, Mary Lambert, Kiesza, Becky G and Nick Jonas.
Special appearances included Y100’s on-air personalities, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, Orange is the New Black actress Dascha Polanco and singer-songwriter Prince Royce.
Charli XCX opened the night with the hit Boom Clap and later joined Azalea on stage (she’s facing a bit of a sex tape scandal but showed no concern). Boca Raton native Grande brought Santa and sang hits including Bang Bang with Jessie J, who will be rightfully headlining her own solo show at The Fillmore on Feb. 15.
Trainor sang her homage to ample backsides, Bass, while Pharrell performed Happy and Calvin Harris kept brought Miami heat with hit Summer.

Earlier in the day, the Jingle Ball, part of the national iHeartRadio tour, kicked off with pre shows at the Y100 Jingle Ball Village where Trainor, So Flo native Jake Miller, Shawn Mendes and Rixton performed. There were also special appearances by Y100’s Orion Paxx (formerly known as Logic MC), Asha Sing and the Macy’s Rising Star Winner, Before You Exit. The concert also donated $1 of each ticket sold to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives.
Michael Caine stopped by Cibo Wine Bar on South Beach with his wife and children on Saturday for the restaurant’s special Bubbles and Brunch. He was spotted there earlier in the week, stopping by solo to enjoy dinner.
Latin pop singer Chayanne had dinner with friends Sunday at La Mar by Gaston Acurio at the Mandarin Oriental, Miami.
