Pitbull is Mr. 2015, hosting New Year’s Eve broadcast
Pitbull is channeling the late Dick Clark this New Year’s Eve to rap the night away. Mr. 305 will head to the new Thompson Miami Beach Hotel to host Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution, broadcasting live on Fox from 8 to 12:30 a.m. (with a slight break for local news). Musical acts include good buddy Enrique Iglesias.

“Short, fat and bald” is often how Jason Alexander, aka George Costanza, referred to himself back in the Seinfeld days. Hear the actor-comedian talk about what’s up top (or not) in An Evening with Jason Alexander and His Hair Feb. 26 at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. The show benefits Parkland temple Congregation Kol Tikvah, marking its 25th anniversary. The night will also celebrate Alexander’s mother Ruth Greenspan’s 95th birthday (she’s a member of the congregation). Tickets: 954-346-7878, www.koltikvah.net. Will there be a mini reunion at Del Boca Vista? The next night, Alexander’s old costar, Jerry Seinfeld, plays Hard Rock Live.

After all, tickets to the pop-up picnic event — in which guests wear white and bring their own food, eating utensils and even chairs — were an affordable $35 a head.
