With such famous parents, no one should be surprised that Willow and Jaden Smith are so intense. In a new interview with The New York Times’ T magazine, the 16-year-old Karate Kid star and his sister, 14, often ramble on in nonsequitirs, discussing topics from quantum physics to the melancholy nature of the ocean.
Why are Will and Jada Smith’s kids talking at all? Both have albums to promote. Jaden also says he wants to be famous, but not for what you may think: “I have a goal to be just the most craziest person of all time. And when I say craziest, I mean, like, I want to do like Olympic-level things. I want to be the most durable person on the planet.”
Kim Kardashian has no regrets. The reality star, while appearing Tuesday on Australian TV show The Project, maintains she is proud of her nudie shots in Paper magazine.
“I was so honored and excited to work with [photographer Jean-Paul Goude] because he is a legend, and for me that was something I wanted to do to make myself feel confident,” she explained. “As a role model, I'm not saying anyone else should do that, but for me it was an art project and it taught me to do what you want to do.”
Goude, a former art director at Esquire Magazine, has worked with various celebs and was responsible for the iconic picture of Grace Jones’ ballet pose with a microphone that appeared in New York magazine in 1977.
Next up for KK: Appearing on India’s version of Big Brother, Big Boss, according to a release. She reportedly will be paid about $900,000. That’s a lot of rupees.
SAY NO TO DRUGS
Matt Lauer confronted four members from One Direction who showed up to Today on Monday morning. The cohost of the show, broadcasting from Universal Studios in Orlando, wanted to know why Zayn Malik was a no- show. The lads said the singer was MIA due to a tummy bug, but Lauer pushed on, “There have been rumors of substance abuse. What’s going on?” Malik later told UK’s The Sun that he was “really angry and upset by what was said on the Today show” and that he truly was ill.
