Hot stuff celebs love

Call it puppy love. American Eagle Outfitters just launched its limited edition holiday collection for our canine friends. American Beagle Outfitters (no typo) was planned as an April Fool’s Day joke last spring to raise awareness for the ASPCA, but due to an overwhelming response, the retailer has brought the line to life. Julianne Hough was recently spotted out in D.C. with her two fully outfitted dogs, Lexi and Harley. The “Woof” beanies are a hoot.

Kurt Cobain was a champion of weird underground bands and the classic rock titans his band would soon join in the history books. Now there’s a new document of his influential tastes in music: “Montage of Heck,” a mixtape Cobain made on a home 4-track recorder in 1988, has surfaced on the Dangerous Minds blog ( Snippets range from established Cobain favorites (Velvet Underground, Black Sabbath) to contrarian pop fare (Sammy Davis Jr., Cher) to truly bizarre (Mike Love of the Beach Boys discussing meditation).

Martha Stewart is kicking — and cooking — it old school for Thanksgiving. The domestic goddess seems to lean toward Colman’s Mustard, using the spicy condiment in powder form in a recipe on her website for Chinese style dipping sauce and on the “Today” show, to re-create her mom’s meatloaf. Stewart told Matt and Savannah she liked the “pungent” taste. There’s history there, too. The British brand and Queen Victoria pick turned 200 this year.

For the holiday season, François Nars is all about the haute packaging. The French cosmetics giant is using a digitally rendered, so-called Nebula print by Los Angeles interior designer Chris Kabatsi, known for his warped coffee tables, to decorate all its winter goodies. Time-saving bonus: Kabatsi’s intricately cool, Milky Way meets Spider-Man webbing means no need for gift wrapping.

In a city that hardly ever sleeps, coffee isn’t just for the morning. On Saturday night at Lou La Vie showroom in downtown Miami, a few VIP revelers are trading mojitos for cafe con leches at a party celebrating the launch of Keurig’s newest brewing system, 2.0. Jamie Foxx is set to host, while DJ Irie hits the tables and Bravo’s “Jersey Belle” star Jaime Primak Sullivan gets her caffeine on.

On Wednesday, on what would have been Princess Grace of Monaco’s 85th birthday, remember the style icon by trying out one of Kelly’s favorite perfumes, Krigler’s Chateau Krigler 12. She is known to have worn the flowery meets spicy upon receiving her Academy Award for “Country Girl” in 1955. One whiff and you’ll feel like a princess yourself.
