Gloria Estefan will be traveling from the 305 to the 212 later this month to sing for a very special reason: She’s performing for the pope.

Other celebrities such as fellow South Floridian tenor Andrea Bocelli will be performing at an afternoon concert at Madison Square Garden on Sept. 25, before Pope Francis celebrates Mass.

Want tickets to the Mass? The New York Times reports 40,000 were distributed through a lottery and then popped up eBay and Craigslist.

Gaby’s a winner

Miami’s Gaby Diaz knew she could dance — but did she think she could win Fox’s reality competition, So You Think You Can Dance? Well, she did it, emerging as the victor Monday night.

In the weeks before the finale, Diaz, in the final four, had been put through the ringer but managed to keep her composure and — more importantly — impress the judges.

Especially Nigel Lythgoe, who told Diaz she had something “very special” that was “beautiful to see.”

The New World School of the Arts grad is proud of herself and gave a shoutout to all of her fans: “I’m very grateful for everyone who’s showed up and been supporting me throughout my journey.”

One of her biggest inspirations? Ballet great Misty Copeland.

Elton? It’s Vlad

Elton John says Vladimir Putin has phoned him after the musician requested a meeting to discuss Russia’s anti-gay environment.

On Instagram, the star said “thank-you to President Vladimir Putin for reaching out and speaking via telephone with me today. I look to forward to meeting with you face-to-face to discuss LGBT equality in Russia.”

John’s publicist, Gary Farrow, confirmed the content of the Instagram post Tuesday.

Last week, John criticized Russia’s law against gay “propaganda” and comments by Putin suggesting that gay people prey on children. He told the BBC he would “love to sit down with him” and try to change Putin’s mind.

It was unclear whether the Kremlin had agreed to a meeting.

John performed in the then-Soviet Union in 1979 and still regularly plays shows in Russia.

Harry turns 31

Prince Harry marked his 31st birthday Tuesday at a gathering of vintage Battle of Britain aircraft honoring the pilots who helped protect the country during World War II.

Harry watched as some 40 Spitfire, Hurricane and Bristol Blenheim bombers flew in formation before dispersing to wartime airfields in the south of England.

Kristen: It’s still hard

Many Twilight fans loathe her, but Kristen Stewart has a heart: She’s still not over her emotional and public split from Robert Pattinson.

The actress told The Daily Beast that the split was “incredibly painful,” while she was promoting her new film, Equals, at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Stewart cheated on Pattinson, 29, with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. She and Pattinson split for good in 2013.

Stewart told The Daily Beast that she could relate to her Equals costar Nicholas Hoult, who split from Jennifer Lawrence while filming the project in Japan in August 2014.

“It was a really good time for both of us to make this movie,” Stewart explained. “Not all of my friends have been through what I’ve been through.”
