John Denver gets Walk of Fame star

Folk singer John Denver was posthumously given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday.

Denver, born Henry John Deutschendorf, died 17 years ago in a plane crash. His son, Zak Deutschendorf, and daughter, Jesse Belle Denver, were on hand for the unveiling.

Denver sold more than 33 million albums over the course of his career as a folk musician. He was inducted in 2011 into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.

"He was a troubadour," G. Brown, director of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, told Variety. "He was a one-of-a-kind talent. Never sang out of tune. He was a fantastic vocalist. When you listen to a record like Sunshine on My Shoulder — the string arrangement, his vocal performance. He was just a phenomenal performer."

‘BOO BOO’ FALLOUT

Anna Marie Cardwell is speaking out about being molested as a child, years before she and her family became the stars of TLC's hit reality show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

In an interview with People, June Shannon's oldest daughter, now 20, says registered sex offender Mark McDaniel "would try and touch me and all that stuff" when she was 8 years old and he was dating her mother.

Now that TLC has canceled the show in the wake of reports that Shannon and McDaniel are dating once again, Cardwell — who went by "Chickadee" on the show — says she doesn't know what to believe.

"I'm just confused," she tells People. "I'm hearing one story from Mama and another one from someone else."

In a recent Facebook post, Shannon denied she and McDaniel (who was released from a Georgia prison in March after serving a 10-year sentence for aggravated child molestation) are currently romantically involved.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Teresa and Joe Guidice put their legal troubles aside Saturday to mark a special occasion.

"Celebrated our 15 yr Anniversary 10/23/99 With the Love of my Life," Teresa wrote on a photo on her Instagram account, People reports.

Last week the Real Housewives of New Jersey star learned she will serve her 15-month sentence at the federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut, that was the inspiration for the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black.

Teresa's attorneys had asked U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas if she could serve most of her sentence at a halfway house, where she could work and go home on weekends, but Salas nixed that idea.

IT’S A GIRL

Actress Lake Bell and husband Scott Campbell are parents.

The 35-year-old actress gave birth to a baby girl, her rep told E! News on Saturday. No other details were provided.

Bell, known for roles on The Practice, its spinoff Boston Legal and How to Make It in America, revealed in April that she and Campbell, an artist who made a cameo on the latter series, were expecting their first child together.

The pair kept the news under wraps until the actress debuted her baby bump at a Vanity Fair party in New York.
