Brenda Vaccaro to sub for Valerie Harper in play

Performer Brenda Vaccaro will replace Valerie Harper in a play in Maine as Harper recovers from an illness and brief hospitalization.

The Ogunquit Playhouse said in a release Saturday that Vaccaro will step into the role of Millicent Winter in the production of Nice Work If You Can Get It, which plays through Aug. 15.

The 75-year-old Harper, who has battled cancer, was hospitalized Wednesday. York General Hospital says she was released Thursday.

Princess Kate's love of the water runs deep. The royal mom, 33, has earned her advanced diving certification.

According to The Telegraph, which first reported the news, the princess and new mom to Charlotte, has earned her advanced open water diving qualification, allowing her to dive to a depth of 98 feet.

Kate follows her husband, Prince William, 33, an avid diver who serves as president of the British Sub-Aqua Club.

Miranda Lambert's "girls night" was a country music collaboration dream come true.

The newly separated star, 31, cheered on friend Shania Twain during the That Don't Impress Me Much singer's Rock This Country tour stop Saturday in Nashville, People.com reports.

"Girls night, love seeing you," wrote Twain, sharing a photo with Lambert on Instagram.
