Bruce Jenner sure has changed
No, really. We have to talk about Bruce Jenner.
Pop culture “experts” were all abuzz after paparazzi captured the 1976 Olympic gold medalist out last weekend looking more feminine than ever.
Last weekend, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians costar was seen at an Elton John concert in Los Angeles with fuller lips, what appeared to be powder foundation, earrings and shoulder length, highlighted hair with some feathering action a la Farrah Fawcett.
Nope, Kris Jenner’s soon to be ex-husband — who started raising eyebrows in February when he had surgery to smooth down his Adam’s Apple — just isn’t looking like he used to back in the day.
Some members of his family, like stepdaughter Kim Kardashian and son-in-law Kanye West, are apparently fine with the glam makeover.
“They don’t have an issue at all with how Bruce looks,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com. “They feel he’s an adult, an accomplished Olympian and one hell of a father. They’re not embarrassed at all and they feel he’s comfortable in his own skin.”
The gossip website adds that Kim and Kanye’s baby North has a nickname for Jenner, 64: “Mama.”
But, please, whatever you’re thinking, don’t be cruel.
Chaz Bono’s image consultant Howard Bragman, of reputation.com, took to his Facebook page after users posted disparaging comments under the picture of the onetime track and field superstar at the John concert. “People seem to be amused by Bruce Jenner’s alleged gender transition,” Bragman wrote. “It’s no wonder that those with gender dysmorphia have psychological issues, disproportionate suicide rates and myriad societal issues. It’s not funny and it’s not a punch line — it’s a human being trying to be true [to] their own self.”
On Wednesday, the paparazzi-stalked Jenner was snapped looking way more manly in a tennis outfit and baseball cap. He was also wearing his wedding ring. So, who knows anymore?
