The civil trial between former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan and the website Gawker has been postponed.

The trial had been scheduled to begin Monday in St. Petersburg. But on Thursday, the 2nd District Court of Appeal filed a procedural opinion regarding trial rules. It said some defense motions had been filed too close to the scheduled start date for the trial to begin then.

No new date has been set.

The ex-wrestler, whose legal name is Terry Bollea, sued Gawker after it published parts of a sex video in 2012.

He seeks $100 million from Gawker for posting the video of him and Heather Cole, the ex-wife of Hogan’s one-time friend and radio show host Bubba the Love Sponge Clem.

Gawker says it had the right to publish the edited video because Hogan talked in detail about his sex life before the video’s release, which made the story newsworthy.

Outdated beachfront properties are transformed into hot commodities in HGTV’s new reality series, Beach Flip. Premiering at 9 p.m. Sunday, Miami’s David Bromstad (My Lottery Dream Home) will act as co-host, co-judge and co-mentor along with Nicole Curtis (Rehab Addict) and Josh Temple (House Crashers) . The premise: Four rival teams compete to renovate rundown waterfront bungalows with outdated décor, loud wall colors and awkward layouts into spectacular properties in just eight weeks. The team with the highest increase in property value as determined by the region’s top appraisers wins the $50,000 grand prize and a spread in HGTV Magazine.

We doubt you’ll see Tom Cruise, but this could be fun, anyway. Play your part to save the world in a newly opened Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation interactive experience. At the South Beach Room Escape, 235 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach, fans of the spy thriller franchise walk through a specially themed room through July 31, the day of the action flick’s release.

Warning: Participants — a maximum of 10 — are “locked” in a 250-square-foot room and must figure out clues in order to get out, so claustrophobics, stay away. But it’s a cheap date: Use the code “MI5” while booking, and the reservation is free.

Kevin Smith is rocking a much smaller frame these days. The indie director, who appeared at Florida Supercon at the Miami Beach Convention Center Sunday, admitted that he’s lost 85 pounds. Before Smith’s trip south he posted a photo on Twitter to share a before-and-after image from 2008 and now. There’s been a lot of work involved: Back in February, the filmmaker (Too Fat for 40) told Men’s Health he was off sugar. During the course of his makeover, he has posted tips on Facebook. A big one: Standing while he works instead of sitting behind a monitor.
