UPDATE: Manny Puig is out of the hospital and currently recuperating from COVID-19 at home, his girlfriend announced on Facebook.

Onetime “Savage Wild” host Manny Puig is reportedly battling coronavirus.

The local outdoorsman’s girlfriend announced on Facebook that Puig, 66, was currently hospitalized.

“I need everybody’s prayers right now,” wrote Morgan Mccormick on Thursday. “I called the ambulance tonight for him because he was in severe pain with his kidneys and dry heaving. The doctor says he is extremely dehydrated. They have him on a morphine drip with fluids to hydrate him.”

Well wishes poured in for the former Outdoor Channel star, who is also known for his fierce collection for Trident hunting spears. About a week ago on Instagram, the Cuban-born animal expert appeared healthy, showing off two tools for sale.

Nicknamed The Sharkman, Puig has also appeared on “Extreme Contact,” “Jackass” and “WildBoyz.”
