Univision’s Pamela Silva quietly divorced in March. Weeks later she gave birth to a baby

They say change is the only constant.

True for Cesar Conde, who was hired as head of the newly formed NBCUniversal News Group on Monday.

The move was part of a corporate reorganization at NBCUniversal, based in New York.

The former Telemundo chairman will be in charge of NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC, taking over where ousted, embattled executive Andy Lack left off.

Conde’s big job means a move out of Miami, and away from his rather tumultuous life here: His ex wife, “Primer Impacto” anchor Pamela Silva, just gave birth to a baby, which is not his.

On the same day that Conde’s NBC announcement came, Silva posted a picture of her newborn, named Ford, on Instagram.

“Son: you are my great dream come true and the greatest blessing of my life,” wrote the TV personality, 38. “Thank you for allowing me to feel this enormous happiness. Your arrival illuminated my world and I hope to raise you as a being of faith, who always radiates light, love and kindness. I adore you... You’re my miracle in motion.”

Silva filed for divorce back in late January, People en Español first reported in March, when the native Peruvian was in her third trimester.

At the time, the Univision star’s publicist, Jennifer Gómez-Vita, would not comment. But the growing bump eventually told all (ish). And then on Monday, the big reveal on the “Primer Impacto” Instagram page.

Many social media commenters were taken aback, obviously unaware, and wanted to know why Silva hid the pregnancy. More than one viewer called the situation “scandalous.” Others respected her decision and agreed her private life is private.

Yes, there’s no way to get around it: The former couple’s dissolution of marriage sounds like a plot out of a telenovela, but it’s all there in court documents, which state that Conde is not the father. The paternity is still unclear.

A judge signed off on the divorce March 20, amid the global lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The case status is listed as “closed.”

Here’s to Conde’s new chapter in the Big Apple. And Silva’s new chapter as mom.
