Pitbull, the Jonas Brothers and Diddy among celebrities to kick off 2020 in South Florida
Celebrities could start their New Year from anywhere in the world. Some picked the Magic City to welcome the new decade.
Artists performed live or partied the evening away on New Year’s Eve across South Florida. The following celebrities chose nightclubs in Miami-Dade County and Broward to ring in 2020:
▪ The Jonas Brothers and Marshmello performed at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach at 4441 Collins Ave. Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra attended the event and jumped on stage at the end of the performance.
▪ Diddy gathered with his kids, including Quincy, to celebrate the new year alongside rapper DaBaby and DJ Khaled at Story Nightclub at 136 Collins Ave.
▪ Zedd performed at the packed nightclub Daer South Florida at 1 Seminole Way.
▪ The sisters and Australian duo Nervo jumped on stage at the W South Beach at 2201 Collins Ave.
▪ Miami-native Pitbull performed live at Bayfront Park at 301 Biscayne Blvd., near the Big Orange. Other artists also took to the stage, including Willy Chirino and Paulina Rubio.
