Scary time for Modern Family star Sarah Hyland. The actress, 23, has been going through a hard time with her ex boyfriend, actor Matthew Prokop, whom she accuses of physically and abusing her for the last four years, TMZ reports. According to court documents obtained by the website, Hyland has obtained a temporary restraining order against Prokop. During one argument in May, the 24-year-old allegedly pinned Hyland against a car door, according to the court papers. “His grip was so tight that I could not breathe or speak. I was scared and in fear for my life.”

DADDY & HUBBY

A day of mourning for Jeremy Renner fans. The actor, 43, is no longer single. The quiet Avengers hunk confirmed to Capitol File magazine that he is married Sonni Pacheco, the mother of his toddler daughter Ava. Renner did not release a statement due to privacy concerns. The star of the upcoming Kill the Messenger recently told ABC News that being a father has made him less selfish. “I know what unconditional love is, an amazing, amazing thing ... the reason why I go do things is now for her. So, thank you for that, Ava, because it's freed me from myself.”

Too bad Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose don’t second that emotion. The new parents of one are splitting after roughly a year of marriage.

CADET SUIT

A former West Point cadet has lost his multimillion-dollar lawsuit against staff members for Patti LaBelle over a beating he received while waiting outside a Houston airport terminal for a ride home. The federal jury in Houston returned its verdict Tuesday night after 10 hours of deliberation. The famed singer had been dropped from the suit early in the trial. In his lawsuit, Richard King alleges he was attacked without provocation by LaBelle’s bodyguard and two others while waiting outside Bush Intercontinental Airport in 2011. His attorney had said King suffered a brain injury.

WOMEN GONE WILD

Keanu Reeves needs to get a new alarm system. The Matrix star had not one home intruder but two earlier this month, The Los Angeles Times reports. Officers responded to a 911 call Sept. 12, after reports of a burglary. Reeves, 50, told cops he was awakened by a noise and found a 40-ish woman sitting in a chair. Just two days later a different woman got in to his Hollywood Hills mansion through an unlocked door, stripped and went swimming.

PRISON LIFE

Two newly released photos of Phil Spector show the toll of age and prison on the once flamboyant music legend. The most recent photo shows the bald, somber-looking 73-year-old staring straight into the camera on Oct. 28, 2013. A California Department of Corrections spokeswoman said Spector, who is serving 19 years to life for the 2003 killing of actress Lana Clarkson, has been moved to a facility providing medical and mental health care to the state’s sickest inmates, including those with chronic conditions but would not elaborate on his ailments.
