Avril Lavigne and husband Chad Kroeger may be done after just 14 months of marriage. “It’s over,” a source tells the latest issue of Us Weekly. “He has been going around L.A. and telling people that they're divorcing.” Telltale signs: They stopped following one another on social media and Lavigne was spotted out sans ring. In August, Kroeger gave Lavigne a 17-carat sparkler as an anniversary gift.

SINGER NABBED

Puerto Rico reggaeton star Don Omar was arrested Wednesday in the U.S. territory on suspicion of domestic violence, according to police. William Omar Landron Rivera, 36, was detained at a house in the northern coastal town of Vega Alta. Authorities said he is suspected of threatening his 26-year-old partner. Omar won 10 awards last year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards and has also appeared in several movies, including Fast & Furious in 2009.

THE GREED GAME

Rumors are no big deal to John Travolta. The actor told the Daily Beast that allegations that he had a relationship with his former pilot don’t bother him because it’s just par for the course for famous people. “This is every celebrity’s Achilles heel. It's just about people wanting money. That's all. It happens on many levels,” the 60-year-old actor told the site. Travolta's former pilot Douglas Gotterba earlier this year sued Travolta and his Alto airline company to determine if a confidentialy agreement covering his years of employment was valid.

A DRINKING LIFE

Hiccup! Gerard Depardieu admitted to French magazine So Film that he sometimes consumes up to 14 bottles of wine a day. “I can’t drink like a normal person. I can absorb 12, 13, 14 bottles per day,” said the 65-year-old Frenchman who has his own vineyard. He often breaks up his wine marathons with champagne and pastis then switches over to the harder stuff at night. Depardieu made headlines after he was banned from an Air France flight for urinating in the aisle back in 2011.

CUSTODY BATTLE

It’s like the War of the Roses but worse because a baby is involved. Sherri Shepherd has reportedly taken the newborn boy she and her estranged husband Lamar Sally had via surrogate from her health insurance, according to People Magazine. The TV writer says the former View cohost has never met the child and her name is not on his birth certificate. A pretrial hearing is set for Oct. 2 in Pennsylvania; the mag could not reach Shepherd, who is starring in a Broadway play, for comment.
