Ariana Grande and Big Sean: It’s over

Ariana Grande and Big Sean are no longer. The two singers have split after eight months, their reps confirm to Us Weekly. Insiders tell the mag the relationship ended a few weeks ago partially due to “conflicting touring schedules.” Some social media chatterers suggested the Bang Bang crooner was getting too close with Justin Bieber, but that seems like it was just an act. Grande has reportedly had a crush on Sean since she was 17. Sigh, young love. We are sure they will rebound.

ROYAL COUNTDOWN

Will it be a prince or princess? According to widespread media reports in the United Kingdom, Tuesday is reportedly when Kate Middleton will be admitted to the hospital. It is unclear if she is having a C-section or doctors are inducing labor. Tuesday also happens to be Queen Elizabeth’s 89th birthday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have remained, um, mum about the sex of the second child, and Kate has managed to keep her bump pretty much under wraps the entire pregnancy. Big brother-to-be Prince George was born July 22, 2013.

NEVER FORGET

Courtney Love is again talking about her late husband, Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain. On Sunday, while at NYC’s Tribeca Film Fest promoting Montage of Heck, an HBO documentary debuting 9 p.m. May 4, the Hole rocker thinks that her wandering eye may have contributed to his suicide at age 27 in 1994. “I’m a big flirt. I flirt with chairs,” Love told an audience, adding that she never cheated, but “thought about it one time.”

RUGBY WIDOW

Russell Crowe thinks he knows why his marriage to singer Danielle Spencer collapsed. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning the Oscar winner partially blamed his buying an Australian rugby team back in 2006. “It’s not a bad business decision,” the star of the upcoming The Water Diviner said of purchasing the South Sydney Rabbitohs. “My wife clearly understands what my [acting] job is. But to her, I suppose, the football situation was needlessly taking myself away.” The parents of two are separated, but not divorced.
