Bobby Brown gets emotional

Bobby Brown gave a short, emotional speech referencing his "hard times" as he took the stage in Los Angeles on Saturday, in what marked his first official public appearance since the hospitalization of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who remains in a medically induced coma, E! Online reports.

The 46-year-old R&B singer performed songs such as Don't Be Cruel and On Our Own for a cheering crowd at the 2015 Soul Food Festival, exactly 70 days after the 22-year-old, his daughter with the late Whitney Houston, was found unconscious in a filled bathtub at her home near Atlanta.
