He’s moving out of Miami. So what’s in the stars for celebrity astrologer Walter Mercado?

AP

Walter Mercado is going all New York on us.

The celebrity astrologist is in the process of moving up north, and before he leaves Miami, Mercado held an estate sale Thursday through Saturday at his downtown Miami condo.

Among the items snatched up: dramatic portraits, colorful capes, artwork from his travels, furniture of many eras, including his circa 1940 wooden frame bed with dramatic headboard.

“Everything is for sale,” said Mercado’s niece, real estate agent Dannette Benet (her mom is Walter’s sister). “Even the apartment.”

Uncle Walter’s two bedroom, two bath condo at The Grand overlooks Biscayne Bay. Check it out on Zillow.

Benet called Mercado during the sale and spoke to him via phone.

“Miami is my home. It always will be,” said the famed television personality. “It’s my Miami. It’s me. I love it there more than ever. I’ll never leave it completely.”

Even at 85, Mercado still wants to change things up.

“I have the opportunity to do some consulting and other work,” he said. “It’s a new chapter. I always like new experiences, a new ambience.”

Phew. We don’t see the worldwide entertainer, known for his over the top costumes and on point predictions, retiring anytime soon. Especially during these tumultuous times.

“I want to look for the light, for the love, for the fraternity, for the union ... the conscience,” he said. “If I can be a missionary I’m going to do it. I’m not Walter the body. I’m Walter, the soul, the spirit.”
