Paris Fashion Week: celebrities out in force

After all the hoopla last fall regarding her noticeably changed visage, Renee Zellweger hid her face from cameras with Audrey Hepburn-style bangs and large shades Wednesday as she hit Prada’s Miu Miu show on the last day of Paris Fashion Week. At Louis Vuitton, blonder than ever Kim Kardashian and Kanye West snuck into the show through a secret back door inside a space-age silver dome. Inside another galactic atrium, duo Michelle Williams and Jennifer Connelly sat front row as designer Nicolas Ghesquiere sent the Vuitton style on a futuristic journey with piles of fur, sex and sparkle.

DAYTIME DRAMA

Don’t mess with Rosie O’Donnell. Page Six is reporting that a senior ABC producer of The View was sacked after disrespecting the former host in front of the show’s staff in early February. A source told Page Six: “You have to be mindful of your role and the pecking order,” when dealing with talent. Jennifer Shepard-Brookman had reportedly raised her voice to O’Donnell, who left the show two weeks later due to “family issues.”

PLAY BALL!

Will Ferrell shifts from the screen to the baseball diamond for one of his wackiest stunts yet. The comedian plans to play all nine positions while making appearances at five Arizona spring training games for an upcoming HBO special in conjunction with the Funny or Die website.

NOT INVINCIBLE

Johnny Depp is going to be laid up for a few weeks. The newlywed reportedly broke his right wrist while go-karting on a private track in Australia last weekend, the Gold Coast Bulletin reports. Depp was pictured climbing onto a private jet Down Under in what looked like a makeshift cast.

BIG HEADACHE

The reason Tori Spelling was rushed to the hospital last week has been revealed: she suffers from migraines, she tweeted. A trigger could be stress from finances. Life & Style reports the actress’ situation has become so dire that she turned to estranged mom, Candy Spelling, to bail her out. The mag reports Spelling and her family need $60K a month to survive.
