Miami Heat dancers strike a pose

If you’re going to the Miami Heat vs. L.A. Lakers game Wednesday night, there’s a good chance you’ll go home with a cool souvenir. Team reps will be distributing 20,000 posters featuring the entire squad of Heat dancers, inspired by Broadway classics All That Jazz and Cabaret, shot by the team’s photographer David Alvarez.

"We are always brainstorming ways to give fans something fresh and new, so this year we decided to go with a more classic beauty/old Hollywood look,” Alvarez says. “We wanted to remain true to who these ladies are: performers. This was the biggest, most intricate group shot we've ever done. A lot of thought and planning went into every aspect of this project — from the lighting to the poses to the wardrobe.”

OFF THE RADIO

Elvis Duran and the Morning Show on-air personality Skeery Jones finally got to hit the snooze button on his 4 a.m. alarm as the show is on a weeklong hiatus. Sounds like a good excuse to soak up the sun in Miami Beach. Jones was seen Sunday brunching with his voiceover artist buddy Will Herbert at Fabio Viviani’s Siena Tavern on the truffled mushroom scrambled eggs and the restaurant’s famed monkey bread. Skeery and Will were later seen lounging poolside at Thompson Miami Beach sipping on signature cocktails from 1930’s House. On Monday, the guys hit the Delano, with Herbert tweeting, “Dreading the return to NY.”

PLAYING THE FIELD

That rumor that Nick Cannon is dating Nicole Murphy may be just that: a rumor. Eddie Murphy’s 47-year-old ex, who recently broke off her engagemet to Live! co-host Michael Strahan, was photographed looking relaxed and happy on Miami Beach over the weekend with British fitness model David McIntosh. Got that, Mariah?
