Internet sensation Joey Graceffa’s mind rarely shuts off, and his fingers rarely stop typing. At just 25, the Massachusetts native is an author; produces and stars in a wildly successful YouTube Red mystery series, “Escape the Night” (with more than 6 million subscribers); and just launched a jewelry line made with healing stones called Crystal Wolf.

The vlogger — for old schoolers, that’s a video blogger — has come out with a new young-adult dystopian novel called “Children of Eden” and will be signing copies, talking selfies and meeting fans, at 7 p.m. Thursday at Books and Books, 927 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach.

Tell us about how you became a hit on YouTube.

It all started out as a hobby, really. My friend and I made videos for fun and really loved it and after moving to Los Angeles and recording my day to day adventures, it sort of skyrocketed and became what it is today. I’m definitely very lucky to do what I love, and love what I do.

What is a typical day like for you?

Between filming videos, vlogging and my gaming channel, it’s pretty jam-packed. I love playing with my two huskies, Wolf and Storm, and taking them on hikes with my boyfriend and frequent costar Daniel [Preda]. The dogs are like kids, so it keeps things entertaining around the house.

Safe to say you’re pretty tied to your computer. What would you be doing if there was no Internet?

Probably enjoying the moment! It’s a full-time job on YouTube and social media, so it’d actually be nice to be forced to unplug and just enjoy life sometimes without having to record everything.

What do you want people to know about you?

That I’m a pretty normal person. I started doing YouTube for fun and for the love of creating and it’s always been that way. I guess having it as my job is a perk — at the end of the day, I’m just a kid with a camera and a mind full of adventures and ideas.

What is your writing process?

I think my imagination is where everything comes to life. It’s where all my ideas really form and become what’s on paper or on the computer screen.

What else are you working on?

We are working on season 2 of my murder mystery surreality show “Escape The Night.”

What do you think of Miami?

I love it there. The people have always been so friendly and full of life, it’s always a blast coming back.
