What do you recommend?

“There’s a novel coming out of Louisiana [in February] that I stumbled across. It’s not genre, just a realistic story of a kid growing up in Baton Rouge, called My Sunshine Away by M.O. Walsh. It’s wonderful. A young boy in love with a girl, and she is raped. The book is about how that rape impacts his life and her life and the whole neighborhood. It’s just one of the best novels I have read recently.”
