Can’t wait for the next Avatar movie? How about something more definite? Toruk — The First Flight, the new Cirque du Soleil show, brings mastermind director James Cameron (Avatar, Titanic) into the distinctive world of Cirque for a visually extravagant, immersive, live multimedia spectacle.

The touring show, inspired by the 2009 blockbuster film, will be presented in 2016 at the BB&T Center, 1 Panther Pkwy., Sunrise, March 3-6, and at the AmericanAirlines Arena, 601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, March 10-13. Narrated by a Na’vi storyteller, Toruk is set thousands of years before the events depicted in the film Avatar. Tickets are on sale now for Cirque Club members, and the public on-sale date begins at 10 a.m. Nov. 13 at cirquedusoleil.com/toruk.
