Dua Lipa Announces Marriage to Callum Turner

Around this time last year, Dua Lipa couldn’t believe she would soon be a bride.

The Grammy-winning singer and all-around pop phenom confirmed to British Vogue last summer that she was engaged to the English actor Callum Turner, 36, who is rumored to become the next James Bond.

“I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we're just enjoying this period,” Lipa, 30, said for British Vogue’s July 2025 cover. “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I'm like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?'”

Fast forward to May 31, 2026, and Dua Lipa could not have chosen more elegant, perfect wedding attire.

Lipa officially announced her marriage to Turner on Tuesday, posting an Instagram carousel showing black-and-white photos from Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on Sunday. Her Instagram post has been liked over seven million times.

“Ahead of their three-day Italian extravaganza next week, the couple had their intimate legal ceremony, where Dua radiated bridal elegance in a custom Schiaparelli skirt suit, white gloves, a Bulgari necklace, and a wide-brimmed white hat, designed by milliner Stephen Jones,” the Daily Mail reported Sunday.

Fans have drawn parallels between Lipa’s skirt suit and what Bianca Jagger wore for her wedding to Mick Jagger in 1971:

Lipa and Turner began dating in January 2024 and made their relationship public that July. Lipa released “Radical Optimism,” her third studio album, in May 2024, and she headlined her “Radical Optimism Tour” until December 2025.

Turner has most recently starred alongside Elizabeth Olsen and Miles Teller in A24’s “Eternity.” He and Monica Barbaro are in the lead roles in Will Gluck’s upcoming romantic comedy “One Night Only,” out this August.
