‘The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu' Steals the Show at Nacon Connect Showcase

French video game publisher and gaming peripherals manufacturer is back again with Nacon Connect 2026, showcasing a few titles sure to shake up the gaming landscape. The publisher is behind some of the most killer games on the market, including ‘Greedfall: The Dying World” and “RoboCop: Rogue City.”

The 35-minute showcase brings a few incredible titles to the forefront, and even shares some in-depth footage at something I sure didn’t expect: ‘Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish.” Like Paradox Interactive’s “Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2,” players will enjoy a first-person adventure that takes them through open areas to find clues and hunt down evil. What makes it even more interesting is that it is being developed by Teyon, the same people behind the aforementioned “RoboCop: Rogue City.”

If it is anything like “RoboCop,” then I am already a fan. Teyon Game Director Piotr Latocha spoke a bit about how the story plans to work around the existing “World of Darkness” setting, even allowing players to create and customize their own character using the “Hunter: The Reckoning” rulebook. He said it should be expected to be in players’ hands by the summer of 2027.

To make things even more exciting for “World of Darkness” fans like myself, “Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn” by Crea-ture was also revealed for a 2027 release. As opposed to “Hunter’s” first-person approach, “Werewolf” will be a top-down metroidvania that lets players switch between being human, a wolf, and a werewolf.

Next up was another concept I really wasn’t expecting: Dracula. “Dracula: The Disciple” is a first-person puzzle adventure being developed by Cyanide Studio that explores the world of Bram Stoker’s popular character, as someone afflicted with an illness who goes to the Transylvanian vampire for help. It appears that players will be able to mix alchemical components, practice the art of salt circles, and truly interact with the world.

In many ways, it reminds me of “The Room” games, which are also first-person puzzle games. Similar to “Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish,” it is also expected to launch sometime in 2027.

More Exciting Nacon Games Slated For 2026

There are also various titles slated for 2026. Players who are fans of “Greedfall: The Dying World” will be excited to know that the long-awaited quest on Peren was also revealed at Nacon Connect. However, it isn’t for players who only have the base game. It is included in the Black Mass DLC pack, which is within the Deluxe edition of the game.

A couple of the weaker trailers and games shown in the showcase included “Edge of Memories” by Midgar Studios, which will take players through a dying world as Eline, a healer who joins a cast of characters to save the land, and “Curse of the Crimson Stag.” The latter didn’t show much besides a few rendered areas that are likely within the game, but its superstitious intensity definitely caught my attention.

Hunting Simulator 3″ also really got my attention. Gameplay was shown off that featured players with their faithful companions traveling across open plains, choosing the perfect guns and bullet calibers to make the final shot count the most.

Personally, the most exciting trailer of them all was “The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu.” It joins the flurry of co-op horror games already out there, but with a bit of a twist. You’ll essentially be taking on the dangers of a jungle that doesn’t want you there as you search for treasures with your companions, explore, and make it back alive.

A few details were shared, alongside a stellar beta gameplay video, that shows off the intense open world that genuinely feels has been there far before players even arrived. What’s even greater is that it’s launching on July 15, 2026.

Plenty of Racing Titles to Check Out

Two racing titles were also shown off, “Tour de France 2026″ and the Galeao circuit in Brazil for “Endurance Motorsport Series.” The former takes the cycling simulator to a whole new level with climate and clothing changes that make it feel that much more real and is expected to launch on June 4. As for the latter, the game will be updated with the Galeo track that’s going to be exclusive to “Endurance Motorsport Series” starting in the summer of 2026.

As for racing, Nacom also introduced the REVOSIM, which is a genuine F1 racing controller that brings that tight-spaced excitement directly to your living room. Best of all, it’s been made available since the show started.

Updates to Older, Well-Loved Titles

Nacon did give some love to a few previously released titles, including a free update to “Ravenswatch” titled “Songs of Thieves” that is expected to launch alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game in the fall of 2026. “Hell Is Us” was also announced for the Nintendo Switch 2 with a September 24, 2026, release.

The Throwdowns update was also announced to be currently available for “Session Skate Sim”, which was long thought to be out of the roadmap scope for the developers. These trick battles will put you against other players and challenge them to see who can do the most Impossibles in one go.
