A Real Housewife Once Leaked Reunion Info and Andy Cohen Knows Who Did It

The Summer House audio leak last week shocked fans and Bravo employees, but it’s not the first time the network has dealt with a reunion leak, according to Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen on Monday.

Reunions for reality shows are intended to wrap up seasons by having the cast relive and hash out some of the biggest moments that happened on the show and in some cases after filming ended. Summer House fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming reunion because it promises to delve into the fallout from the relationship between Amanda Batula and West Wilson. Audio that was leaked last week from the reunion gave viewers a taste of what was to come, but was met with swift condemnation from Bravo, who was able to identify the source within days after launching an investigation.

During his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live on Monday, Cohen condemned the leak, saying it undermined the work the cast and crew do to put together an honest, raw reunion that delivers for fans. But, he also said it’s not the first time the network has had to deal with a leak.

“I’m not going to say what Housewives and I’m not going to say because I know which housewife leaked it,” Cohen said. “A housewife leaked everything that happened. It was a dramatic reunion.”

A Bravo fan account ended up posting the account of what happened, attributing it to an anonymous source. Cohen said he messaged the fan account and told them they were ruining the reunion for fans, with the fan account asking what they could do to make it right. Cohen said he told them to take the post down and to tell him who leaked the information.

“And they told me,” Cohen said on Monday’s show. “And the housewife doesn’t know that I know that it’s them. But I do know.”

Cohen praised the fan account for telling him who leaked the details of the Real Housewives reunion and praised fan accounts that didn’t post the Summer House audio since it was illegally recorded.

Summer House Reunion Audio Leak: What the Cast Said

The season 10 reunion became huge news before it even aired after unauthorized audio leaked on social media just hours after filming concluded in New York City last week. The audio, which quickly spread across Instagram and other platforms, captured a tense confrontation between cast members Ciara Miller and Batula over the latter’s relationship with Wilson.

In the leaked clip, Miller could be heard angrily confronting Batula for dating Wilson, Miller's ex, after months of publicly denying the relationship. The exchange included profanity and accusations of betrayal, with Miller calling Batula a "snake," a moment that sent fans into a frenzy online and intensified scrutiny on an already controversial storyline.

The leak prompted swift and forceful reactions from the show's cast and production team. Cohen condemned the incident in strong terms, calling it "disgusting and illegal." Cohen wrote on Threads that cast members had "laid their souls out emotionally for ten hours," adding that leaking the footage was "disrespectful to the work and tears the cast put in."

On his SiriusXM show, Cohen said the reunion was “one of the most emotional reunions” they ever shot and it was emotionally draining. When Cohen woke up the next morning, he saw the audio had been leaked and was “mad,” he said, but trusted the investigators would find out the source of the leak.

“A Bravo fan came forward,” Cohen said. “It was a Bravo fan, who you’re going to hear more about, crack the case.”

Cohen said the fan “delivered crucial information” that helped investigators identify the source of the leak.

Kyle Cooke, Batula's estranged husband, also publicly addressed the situation, expressing frustration and emphasizing how seriously Bravo treats leaks. In a video shared on social media, he warned that whoever leaked the audio was "literally risking their job," echoing Bravo's stance that the incident represented a major breach of trust.

Who Leaked the Summer House Reunion Audio?

After launching a full internal probe, Bravo announced Sunday it had identified the source of the unauthorized recording. According to a network statement, the audio was leaked by "an individual involved in the production of the reunion," not by any cast member.

Bravo said the audio was an unauthorized recording and confirmed that "appropriate action has been taken" against the person responsible. While the network did not publicly name the individual or specify disciplinary measures, it stressed there was "no evidence that any member of the cast was involved" in either recording or distributing the clip.

Cohen said on his SiriusXM show he knew from the beginning the cast wasn’t involved and condemned “hot takes blaming the cast.” Cohen called suggestions the cast or Bravo leaked the audio are “just dumb takes” and he felt bad the cast had to defend themselves against the accusations because “I love this cast.”

The network also warned additional improperly obtained audio may exist, cautioning media outlets and social media users against sharing or amplifying any further leaked content. Bravo said it would "continue to take appropriate measures to respond to the unauthorized distribution of our content.”

Cohen said on his radio show there is more audio from the reunion circulating and it’s possible it came from the same source. He again warned people against circulating it or trying to amplify it.

“It ruins the integrity of the show and all the hard work of the cast who we love,” Cohen said.

When Is the Summer House Reunion?

Despite the early leak, Bravo has made clear that the official reunion episodes will proceed as planned. The Summer House Season 10 reunion is scheduled to begin airing on Bravo on May 26.

Cohen previously teased the reunion as "one of the most intense" he has ever hosted, saying that "every question was asked" during the taping. The reunion marks the first time Batula, Wilson, and Miller sat down together to address their romantic fallout since Batula and Wilson confirmed their relationship publicly in late March.
