On the Go? ARZOPA Z3FC Makes Dual-Screen Work Easy Anywhere
ARZOPA specializes in delivering the best viewing experiences with its portable monitors. If you're working outside of the home and want to replicate your home office setup, buying a portable monitor can provide an efficient experience. The ARZOPA Z3FC grey plug-and-play monitor is a 16.1" 180Hz display that is compatible with gaming consoles, smartphones, and laptops. While at its retail price of $359.99 USD, it's usually on sale for $135.99 on the ARZOPA website. What this monitor promises with its 2560×1440 QHD resolution and 180Hz refresh rate is what it delivers: the ability to handle any situation, whether in a stationary environment or on the go.
What's in the Box
When opening the box, you'll unbox the Arzopa Z3FC portable monitor, premium protective sleeve, dual Type-C cables, an HDMI to Mini-HDMI Cable, and a quick start guide.
Feature Set
As mentioned previously, the Z3FC boasts a 16.1" display at 180Hz at 2.5K QHD that features a kickstand to keep the monitor upright. It can also be featured in portrait and landscape modes, has dual built-in speakers, and can get pretty bright with its 400 cd/m² (or 400 nits) of brightness. Weighing in at 780g, the monitor is made of aluminum alloy, and it is lightweight and easy to transport.
Real Life Testing
The Z3FC has great plug-and-play capabilities with the mini HDMI, the two USB Type-C ports, the power button, brightness, volume, and OSD menu all on the same side of the monitor. The color looks vivid and sharp when I plug it into several devices, such as a laptop, a ROG Ally X, and a Nintendo Switch. For those worried about having a difficult time setting up the monitor, you won't need to worry about this device, as it's simple to plug in other devices. Please note that for devices needing more power, you'll need to use another USB-C cord plugged into an external power unit. I would have liked the device to include an external power adapter.
If you're looking for a monitor to use in a coffee shop, library, or on the go, this device is lightweight and doesn't feel heavy in a backpack. Even though its kickstand might be a minor detail to some, it's nice that the monitor includes this and doesn't force another purchase to set on top of a hard surface. Its premium protective sleeve fits the monitor perfectly, so I don't have to worry about scratches and cracks when transporting.
My only minor negatives are that the buttons seem a little flimsy, and it takes some getting used to getting into the menu to configure settings. But once the button scheme was figured out, the monitor was responsive to switching inputs, adjusting its HDR mode along with its brightness and contrast.
Final Verdict
The ARZOPA Z3FC Grey delivers standout value, pairing versatility with a travel-ready design that works in virtually any setting. Its clear picture quality holds up, and seamless device connectivity eliminates the hassle of recreating a full office setup on the road.
