Blackpink’s Lisa Just Became the First K-Pop Artist to Land a Las Vegas Residency

Lisa, the Blackpink rapper, singer and dancer who made her acting debut on HBO’s White Lotus, is adding another first to her resume — and this one makes K-pop history.

The Thai-born performer has announced Viva La Lisa, her first Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Variety reported. She will be the first K-pop artist ever to perform as a Las Vegas resident, taking the stage on November 13, 14, 27 and 28, 2026.

The residency announcement comes on the heels of a massive stretch for Lisa and Blackpink. The group recently wrapped the six-month Blackpink Deadline World Tour in Hong Kong in January, performing 15 stadium shows across North America, Asia and Europe.

Beyond touring with Blackpink, Lisa joined fellow members Rosé, Jennie and Jisoo on the quartet’s Deadline world tour and got in the studio with them for last month’s Deadline EP. But her solo career has been building its own momentum.

Her debut studio album, Alter Ego, released on February 28, 2025, through Lloud and RCA Records, debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200 chart and hit number one on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. That followed her debut single album, LALISA, released in 2021.

Alter Ego features collaborations with artists like Doja Cat, Rosalía and Tyla — and Lisa built the entire project around five distinct characters she embodies.

“When I was working on this album, I tried lots of different styles and genres. I did slow songs, faster ones, things that I’d never tried before. I loved everything I did. I feel like I embody these different styles and genres, these different characters,” she explained to Another Magazine in 2025.

“So I was like, what if we just put every style into this album? It’s not a single character, it has five characters, like the five points of a star. It starts with Roxi, she loves to be on stage, she’s a rock star. Roxi is really me. But I think everybody has different sides to them. Don’t you agree? There are many different sides to me. Sometimes I want to be a lovely girl who is free-spirited and loves animals. That’s Sunni. Vixi is fearless and fierce. Kiki is sassy and loves Y2K. And then Speedi loves to race and likes sports cars. I love cars. These girls are me, they are my alter egos – the five points to my star.”

Lisa’s expansion beyond music doesn’t stop at Vegas. She made her acting debut in 2025 as part of the cast of HBO’s White Lotus and will be the subject of a documentary from Sony Music Vision. The documentary is slated to follow a year in her life as she takes time away from Blackpink to focus on her solo endeavors.

Fans eager to see Viva La Lisa can sign up starting April 1 at 10 p.m. PT for the presale, which begins on Wednesday, April 22 at 10 a.m. PT. The general public sale begins April 23 at 10 a.m. PT.
