Lady Gaga abruptly canceled her concert in Miami. Here’s an update
Crisis averted.
Little Monsters will get to see their queen after Lady Gaga abruptly canceled her last of three shows of the Mayhem Ball tour in Miami last Wednesday night.
The many folks who made the trek to the Kaseya Center were left disappointed when the pop star’s concert was canceled literally minutes before it was set to begin.
The venue organizer’s explained on social media that Gaga “experienced significant vocal strain” during her warmup and was advised by her ENT doctor not to perform.
On her own social media, the “Abracadabra” singer wrote how upset she was to have to do this to fans, explaining she had no choice.
“There is a significant risk based on all our combined experience with a show like ours, and. as you know I sing live every night — and even though this was a hard and agonizing decision I would be more afraid of the long-term implications on my voice,” said the star’s statement on Instagram Stories. “I hope you can forgive me and accept my sincerest apologies for any disappointment. Let down. Inconvenience.”
On Tuesday, the Kaseya Center sent out a notice that the rescheduled show is set for six months from now, March 13, 2026.
All purchased tickets for the original show on Sept. 3 will be honored for the new date. In the event, folks can’t make it out, refunds will be available at point of purchase.
