SFLHCC honors singer Albita Rodriguez and Nasdaq VP David Wicks at annual gala
The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) is proud to announce that Albita Rodriguez, winner of the 2024 Latin Grammy Award for Musical Excellence, will be honored with the Global Excellence in Entertainment Award at its 31st Anniversary Gala: ‘Mil and Una Luces,’ taking place on Friday at the iconic Biltmore Hotel starting at 7:30 p.m.
Recognised for her extraordinary contributions to Latin music, Albita Rodriguez has captivated audiences around the world with her powerful voice and distinctive Cuban rhythms. Her influence transcends music, representing Hispanic culture and excellence on the global stage.
In addition to honoring Albita Rodriguez, the SFLHCC will recognize David Wicks, Vice President of Nasdaq, with the Global Executive Innovative Leader Award. A visionary in the financial industry, Wicks has played a pivotal role in expanding Nasdaq’s global impact and fostering innovation in the capital markets.
