It’s not COVID, but Billy Idol is ailing.

The “White Wedding” singer took to social media Wednesday to sadly inform his fans that he was still sidelined due to an MRSA sinus infection.

MRSA, or methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, is a highly contagious bacterial infection that often isn’t cured with common antibiotics.

Idol has had been struggling with the health issue since late last year. The 66-year-old had two procedures in February to remove blood clots resulting from MRSA.

What Idol’s illness means for South Floridians: He won’t make his May 1 gig at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Hollywood.

“I have to take a further two types of antibiotics to beat this MRSA sinus infection, no intravenous, just by mouth,” the rocker wrote of his “pesky and lingering” problem. “Two more weeks to go, yuck! Still I should be OK after this.”

The Brit went on to apologize to his legions of fans: “Canceling shows is not something I do casually.”

Idol was planning to promote his new EP “The Roadside” in South Florida, as well as at another show at the Shaky Knees festival in Atlanta on April 29.

The last time the ’80s chart topper hit Florida was Super Bowl LV in February 2021, alongside Miley Cyrus in Tampa.

The Seminole Hard Rock says tickets can be refunded wherever you bought them.
