Ellen DeGeneres just gave the Miami guy with a tattoo of her face a nice surprise
Ellen DeGeneres has a lot of fans, but some really stand out more than others.
Like Alex Chaves, who caught the talk show host’s attention back in January before a Q&A event at Hard Rock Live! in Hollywood.
On Monday, DeGeneres invited the Miami resident and his wife Laura on her show, telling the audience how she couldn’t help but notice Chaves at the hotel that day.
He was waving a huge poster of her, and also had a huge tattoo of her face on his arm.
The 62-year-old TV star was impressed by the lengths the superfan went to show his devotion, and invited him to appear on “Ellen.”
After calling him up to the stage, cameras zeroed in on Chaves’ forearm, which showed a dark image of the showbiz vet smiling.
“I had a tan,” she joked. “I said I was in Miami.”
DeGeneres had more surprises for the couple, telling them DJ Tambe, two-time winner of the reality competition “Ink Master,” was going to give Chaves some new ink. We can’t wait to see how Ellen looks in this one.
They also got a sweet check for 10K from image sharing company Shutterfly, so they can show all their friends pics of the new, awesome tat.
