Game of Thrones (9 p.m. Sunday, HBO). Stannis did not go there. Actually, he did in the penultimate episode of season five. Sunday, as the season ends for another year, the repercussions are felt, and Cersei is in her most precarious perch yet: begging for forgiveness.

Veep (10:30 p.m. Sunday, HBO). HBO’s political satire ends its disappointing fourth season with Selina’s presidency hanging by a thread.

FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015: Nigeria vs. U.S. (8 p.m. Tuesday, Fox). Soccer battle broadcast from Vancouver.

The Astronaut Wives Club (8 p.m. Thursday, ABC). Series premiere of an adaptation of Lily Koppel’s novel of seven women who bond when their husbands are chosen to be the first Americans in space. The broadcast networks have struggled with set-in-the-’60s programming (ABC’s grounded Pan-Am, NBC’s D.O.A. Aquarius). Will this one find an audience?
