Elle Macpherson: I feel good

How refreshing: Elle Macpherson is growing old gracefully. In a frank interview with Aussie TV show Sunrise, the Miami-based supermodel admits that she’s come to grips with where she is in life, age wise. “It’s one thing being 20 and gorgeous with legs up to your armpits and beautiful tight skin. ... and it’s another to be 51. Finally you get to this stage, and you say, ‘I’ve been known to be one of the most beautiful women in the world. As I’ve matured I’ve realized that it doesn’t really matter what I look like. The most important thing is how do I feel?’ ”

Actor Booboo Stewart (The Twilight Saga, X-Men series and the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie Disney’s Descendants) will co-host the launch of Miami-based Alfalit International’s newly founded Young Professional Board at a private Coral Gables home Saturday evening. In the cheering section: graphic artist William Betts, the writer’s brother.

Attention, gossip fiends: National Enquirer heir, Boca Raton businessman Paul David Pope, is all set to release his second book, Confessions of a Rich Kid from Hell (working title), by the end of the year. According to a release, “The juicy tell-all paints a vivid picture of a life of excess and privilege — a story that is salacious, sinister, historically riveting and sexy to a modern day audience.” Pope, who battled his mother — Palm Beach philanthropist Lois Pope — over the family’s millions for years, has optioned rights to his 2010 book, The Deeds of My Fathers, to Fox 21 Television Studios. He told The New York Post to expect “The Godfather meets Citizen Kane.”

Elsewhere in Boca, Kristen Taekman flaunted her fabulous figure in an itsy-bitsy bikini on the beach Wednesday. The Real Housewives of NYC castmate Instagrammed that she was in South Florida for a “project” just for a day. Hmmm. Guess we’ll hear about it on social media soon enough.
