▪ Game of Thrones (9 p.m. Sunday, HBO). In the Season 5 premiere, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) has to pay for shooting his father on the loo. Varys clues him in concerning a potential occupant of the Iron Throne. Cersei and Jaime naturally will have ideas of their own as they imagine a future without their powerful pop, Tywin. Our money’s on Cersei gaining the upper hand.

▪ Silicon Valley (10 p.m. Sunday, HBO). Second season opener finds Monica adjusting to a new managing partner.

▪ Veep (10:30 p.m. Sunday, HBO). In the sitcom’s Season 4 premiere, Selina (Emmy-winner Julia Louis-Dreyfuss) is now the president of the United States and faces her first major speech in that capacity to Congress. Will anyone on her staff figure out what she’s trying to say?

▪ Dancing With the Stars (8 p.m. Monday, ABC). Will Suzanne Somers get a pass for last week’s “Three’s Company” tribute dance? The fifth week elimination show holds the answer.

▪ Nashville (10 p.m. Wednesday, ABC). Juliette and Avery welcome their first child. A country song is born.

▪ Stanley Cup Playoff (8 p.m. Saturday, NBC). First round playoff game.
