We Americans love to make war and not love, according to one study conducted by a mattress reviewing site (yes, there is such a thing). The folks over at Mattress Clarity tracked down where the least amicable couples reside in the United States.
Shocker: Despite all the drama and craziness that goes down in Florida, our cohabiting residents don’t fight as much as they do in other states.
The national average of couples fighting is 19 times a month, site experts say. Let’s do the math: This translates to five and a half nights per month in a separate bed or the couch.
Couples in the Sunshine State go at it an average of 17 times a month.
Another shocker: Most men call the truce.
Drum roll, please. Where do couples fight the most? Vermont, according to MC. Significant others there argue a whopping 39 times a month.
Caveat: The survey was based on just 2,500 souls aged between 18 and 65 plus.
