Coco Jones has had a phenomenal year, captivating audiences with her undeniable talent as a musician. The young star keeps shining brighter, and now there’s no denying she’s a major player in the industry.

The R&B songstress recently made a huge announcement that shocked her legion of fans, cementing her status as a burgeoning luminary in music.

As reported by Yahoo Entertainment, she announced on Tuesday that she would embark on a summer tour in support of her EP “What I Didn’t Tell You,” which features the widely acclaimed and chart-topping single “ICU.”

Jones’ tour begins in Ontario, Canada on August 5 and will take her to 15 cities across the United States, including Dallas, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. September 3 will see her final performance in Norfolk, Virginia.

“We’re going on tour, y’all!” Jones’ Instagram post’s caption read. “‘What I Didn’t Tell You Tour’ with special guests Ebony Riley and Haben Abraham and S!MONE is on sale this Friday (June 30) at 10 a.m. local! Register at the link in my bio for early access.” Jones elaborated in the post’s comments, adding, “This is just leg one of the tour. I’ll be hitting more cities [for] leg two. Stay tuned.”

The tour announcement comes after a night to remember for the celebrated “Bel-Air” actor at the esteemed 2023 BET Awards. Jones kicked off her special night with a beautiful performance of “ICU” on the show’s main stage. Several people compared her voice and stage presence to those of R&B legends from the ‘90s.

Jones then accepted the award for Best New Artist with an inspiring and emotional speech.

“It’s been a long journey. Thank you, guys, for rocking with me the whole time,” she said, expressing her gratitude.

“Thank you so much to my culture, who has stood beside me,” she continued. “It’s been a really long, long journey, and for all of my Black girls, we do have to fight a little harder to get what we deserve but don’t stop fighting. Even when it doesn’t make sense and you’re not sure how you’re gonna get out of those circumstances, keep pushing cause we are deserving of great things yall.”

Congratulations, Coco!
