This company wants to pay you and your BFF to travel and make memories
Imagine getting paid to travel with your best friend to a beautiful international destination, the only requirement being that you have to make memories and capture them on camera. While it sounds like a dream, this scenario could be a reality for you and your BFF.
Flytographer, a website that pairs travelers with local photographers in over 350 destinations around the world, is looking for its first Chief Memory Makers, according to Travel Noire. In the role, the best friends chosen by the company will each receive $5,000 to fund their trip to one of the destinations Flytographer is located, such as Paris, Brussels, Ibiza, and Santorini. In addition to the money, the company will also cover the round-trip flight and one-week hotel stay.
Once they’ve made it to their destination, the Chief Memory Makers are tasked with a very serious job: making memorable moments and capturing them. The pictures taken will be featured on Flytographer’s Instagram page.
The idea for the role was inspired by founder Nicole Smith and her trip to Paris with her best friend, Erika, 10 years ago. After asking a friend of Erika’s to take photos of the two enjoying their time in the city, Smith realized that the best souvenirs she could bring back from that trip were the photos that captured the time spent with her dear friend.
Flytographer’s website notes that the term “best friend” is open to interpretation. The Chief Memory Makers can be friends like Smith and Erika, mother and daughter, romantic partners, neighbors, roommates, etc.
The application for the role is open now until May 15 and the pair will be chosen by May 23, 2023. The pair must be available to travel between June 1 and August 31, 2023. For more information, or to submit an application for you and your best friend, visit Flytographer’s website.
