“The World’s Best Airline” just got a little bit better. Qatar Airways has finally opened its new Al Mourjan Business Lounge at Hamad International Airport (HIA) called The Garden.

As the name suggests, the lounge is a nature-inspired oasis that was created to “immerse passengers in a tranquil environment filled with natural light, exotic plants and elegant furnishings,” the airline said in a press release. The Garden is meant to be a companion to The Orchard, the extravagant 60,000-square foot plant-filled atrium below. Al Mourjan Business Lounge is located in the northern expansion of HIA and spans nearly 80,000 square feet (7,390 square meters).

Although the lounge can accommodate up to 707 travelers, the design was intended to provide guests with spaces to be in solitude or to socialize. The Garden features 24 quiet spaces, equipped with spa treatment rooms, for travelers to unwind and are available free of charge for the first six hours of use. The lounge offers guests a plethora of other amenities to accommodate business, leisure and family travelers including a fitness studio, pedicure and manicure stations, spa facilities, dedicated private spaces, recreation facilities and a nursery.

Foodies will also be keen to know that The Garden doesn’t skimp on dining options. Travelers can enjoy a bite to eat in either the East Wing or West Wing of the lounge. In the East Wing, guests can select options from hot and cold buffet areas, which offer made-to-order meals, international and local cuisine, sushi, dessert, cocktails and more. The West Wing offers lighter eats, including fresh juices and smoothies, barista-prepared beverages, and made-to-order sandwiches.

“At Qatar Airways, excellence is embedded in the core of our brand, and as we continue to evolve our offerings, we choose to provide our passengers with the very best experiences in aviation and hospitality,” Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker said in a statement. “This world-class lounge showcases a sophisticated way of travel, centered in comfort, wellness and nature. I welcome our premium passengers to experience this spectacular addition to our signature lounge portfolio.”

Lounge access is available to Qatar Airways First Class and Business Class (Elite, Comfort & Classic) and oneworld First Class and Business Class passengers at no additional cost. Business Class (Lite) and Economy Class passengers can purchase lounge access online or through a travel agent, Qatar Airways’ sales offices, and at check-in counters.
