Authentic to Disney World, newly remodeled Narcoossee’s restaurant opens its doors
The Walt Disney World Resort welcomed the return of the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s iconic fine dining restaurant, Narcoossee’s, on April 1.
Since opening its doors for the first time in 1988, Narcoossee’s recently underwent an extensive renovation that fully capitalizes on its breathtaking location overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon. Visitors will be greeted by members of the cast as they take in the azure and marine-themed decor, which will take them from the land to the sea.
The redesigned restaurant stays true to the Grand Floridian’s history of fine dining, while updating the space and adding a slew of new dishes inspired by the flavors of Florida and the Southeast. This is a testament to the redesigned restaurant’s commitment to the Grand Floridian’s tradition. Diners of all ages have a wide selection of seafood, meat, and vegetarian dishes to choose from, all of which are prepared using ingredients that have been ethically sourced.
An ocean-themed charcuterie board, beef and ricotta tortelloni, roasted vegetable paella, and grilled redfish are just some of the new items on Narcoossee’s menu. Bisque, plancha-seared scallops, and prime New York strip steak are a few other fan favorites that have made a comeback. Cocktails with a Victorian flair, alcohol-free drinks, and a carefully selected wine list are all available at this eatery.
From the classic Almond-crusted Cheesecake with Lambert cherry sauce and Chantilly cream to the innovative Berry Pavlova with fresh Florida berries and citrus served with bright yuzu cremeux and a tableside pour of anglaise, there is no shortage of sweet treats to end your meal.
The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has undergone an extensive renovation that culminates with the reopening of Narcoossee’s. Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. However, bookings will not be honored in May and June due to the current construction at the restaurant.
