Run the Jewels fans are in for a treat because the rap duo announced a tour commemorating their 10th anniversary.

On March 28, Killer Mike and EI-P surprised fans on Twitter with the news of the upcoming tour, “RTJX – Celebrating 10 Years of Run the Jewels.” The duo will perform four shows each in Atlanta, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles starting in September. Okayplayer reports that the tour marks the Run The Jewels’ first club shows in North America since the release of their fourth studio album, “RTJ4” in 2020.

RTJ was originally slated to tour with Rage Against the Machine for the “Public Service Announcement Tour,” but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because the duo were unable to tour as planned, their 10 year anniversary tour was the solution.

“It’s mind blowing to us that it’s been 10 years since we joined forces as RTJ. The best way we can think to celebrate is to get the whole family together and do what we love for the people who love us back,” RTJ said in a joint statement. “It’s going to be amazing, just like this entire ride has been, and we are grateful to get a chance to celebrate with our jewel runners this year and finally get back into clubs to destroy some stages for you.”

The duo also gave fans an insight into the tour’s setlist.

“We’re doing four cities, four nights each, and four full albums worth of jams, many we have only performed a small handful of times during our whole existence,” the pair continued. “So on night one it’s RTJ1 in full plus many more songs from the other records, night two it’s RTJ2… etc. etc. We can’t wait to get out there and see you.”

In addition to the tour, RTJ also has a couple other upcoming collaborations to get fans excited. The duo is releasing an exclusive pair of Nike SB Dunk Low and High on April 20 that are inspired by artwork from RTJ’s third and fourth albums “Run the Jewels 3” (2017) and “RTJ4.” Vinyl lovers will be able to pick up “RTJ CU4TRO” on vinyl on Record Store Day, April 22.
