Great places to visit in Bel-Air after you binge season 2
Peacock’s original series, “Bel-Air,” is back for its highly anticipated second season. The remake of the legendary 90s sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” has been a hit since its premiere in February 2022. The dark and gritty remake of the comedy provided a new perspective into Will and the Banks’ lives. While the new rendition took some twists and turns fans weren’t expecting, one thing that stayed consistent was the Bel-Air backdrop. Located on the westside of Los Angeles, Bel-Air sits at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains and is less than 15 miles from Downtown Los Angeles.
The posh area is one of L.A.’s “Three Bs:” Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, and Brentwood. It is also the closest neighborhood to UCLA. Bel-Air is mentioned in the top 10 most expensive neighborhoods in L.A., with estates ranging from $18.5 million to $85 million. In the new series, we see more of the area and its beautiful landscape, but Detour wanted to dig deeper.
While your pockets may not be as deep as Uncle Phil’s, we found some great places in the area to visit even if “you are west Philidelpha born and raised.”
