U-Turn: A Thanksgiving story of redemption: Tyrique Glasgow, of South Philly named a CNN Hero

Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude so there is no better time to learn about Tyrique Glasgow of South Philly who was named one of ten CNN Heroes of 2022. The early part of his life would not indicate that he was headed for such accolades. His youth was filled with drug-selling and pain, including the loss of several family members and friends to gun violence. After a stint in prison he began to reflect on the negative path he had been on. Check out this week’s U-Turn episode to find out how through connecting with young people in his neighborhood he ultimately chose a different road and went from criminal to community hero.
