Porsche Nikia is a self taught designer and dressmaker based in Tacoma, Washington. She places a heavy focus on helping women uncover and walk in their power and potential through designs she describes as, “iconic, glamorous and dramatic”. Nikia’s design journey began when she realized there was a gap for women who were stepping out of young adulthood and into full fledged womanhood but didn’t want to compromise on their own style and flair. She also focuses on highlighting the beauty in every woman’s body as a designer who has found sizing options left out women with fuller figures.
An ode to the magic of design, simply browsing the Pantora Bridal collection sets the heart alight as silhouettes, fabrics and indulgent details harmonize on the model’s figure. Pantora Bridal and their lead designer Andrea Pitter have been making waves of creativity and elegance since the brand’s launch in 2009. With a specific intention placed on inclusivity, the process includes Forgotten Skin Tones, mesh carefully matched to the bride’s melanin.
