Arian Foster visits Miami Dolphins, remains unsigned
Arian Foster on Tuesday became the third free-agent running back to visit the Miami Dolphins.
The first two ended up signing with their previous teams.
That’s not going to happen with Foster; the Houston Texans have moved on, signing ex-Dolphin Lamar Miller to a massive contract on the first day of free agency.
But unlike the previous two Dolphins targets -- first C.J. Anderson, and then Chris Johnson -- there’s no pressing deadline for a deal to get done.
Foster is still recovering from a torn Achilles tendon he suffered last season, and both sides knew that Tuesday’s visit was more of a “get-to-know-you” than a “let’s get a deal done.”
Foster, who has 6,472 yards and 54 touchdowns in his seven-year career, remains on Miami’s radar, and still could end up in Miami.
