The on-again, possibly off-again Eagles-Dolphins trade is definitely on again.

That’s according to the agent of Eagles corner Byron Maxwell, whose nagging shoulder injury gummed up the works.

Alvin Keels wrote on Twitter late Tuesday morning: “Maxwell cleared by Dolphins staff and ready to roll!”

With the details all ironed out, the Miami Herald can confirm that Maxwell and Kiko Alonso will be dealt to the Dolphins after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Philadelphia will get trade compensation in return. There has been speculation that the teams will swap first-round picks (the Dolphins own No. 8, the Eagles No. 13), but neither team had confirmed that as of the time of Keels’ announcement.
