Miami Dolphins’ throwback uniforms to honor team’s first year

The new look will be the old look.

The Miami Dolphins released details of their alternate uniforms for the 2015 season. The look will be a throwback to the franchise’s first year in 1966.

In photos and a video released Wednesday, the throwbacks have the familiar orange and white stripes on the sleeves and the helmet features the old logo of a dolphin wearing a helmet.

“A nod to our team’s storied history, while incorporating innovate aspects of modern design,” the Dolphins announced on Twitter.
